Scope of application
It is intended for painting surfaces inside the premises. It provides a matte, high-quality painting of the surfaces, resistant to washing. The product is especially recommended for painting of walls and ceilings of the premises, experiencing high operating loads. It is used both as a coating for new and repair of old coverings. EKOFLEKS EL15 is waterborne, thixotropic paint. It does not prevent the steam-diffusion, i.e. allows the wall “to breathe” and pass out moisture. It has a good covering power and a good adhesion to all types of surfaces. It is easy to use. Colour shade is white. The paint is tinted with pigments. To avoid differences in colour shades, while self-tinting, all the necessary amount of material should be toned at once, mixing several toned paint among each other. This paint is not meant for painting metal bases.
Instructions for use
The surface must be clean and dry, without grease, oils, waxes and other materials reducing adhesion, as well as with no visible damage. Previously painted surfaces must be cleaned of the old, peeling coat and sanded down flattening, and then carefully cleaned. Surface vegetation or micro-organisms formation must be removed with a wire brush or treated with antibacterial agent according to the instructions. Prepare the surface for painting, covering it with universal primer EKOFLEKS GL25. Before painting of wooden surfaces, they should be treated with a respective primer. Before use, product EKOFLEKS EL15 has to be mixed thoroughly. Apply paint EKOFLEKS EL15 diluting it with water if necessary (not more than 5%). Apply with a brush, a roller or a spray gun. In order to avoid visible joints of individual sections of the treated surface, the material should be applied in one operation using “fresh over fresh” method. At +20°C and relative humidity of 65%, the coating will be dry on the surface in 2-3 hours and will be ready for overcoating. The coating will be completely dry and able to hold loading in approximately 72 hours. These terms are increasing at a lower temperature and higher humidity. Finishing work, the tools have to be washed immediately with plenty of water. If the paint dries- out, it should be washed with organic solvents.
Terms of application and storage
Work should be carried out at substrate temperatures from +50C to +350C. It should be stored in an original container, in areas with a constant temperature of +50 C to +300C. During transportation it has to be protected from freezing. Storage period is 12 months from the manufacture date indicated on the package.
Instructions for disposal
The material cannot be sewered into drains and discharged into wastewater. Plastic packaging is recommended to recycle in special containers for plastic. Material residues after drying can be disposed as construction waste or household garbage.
Security measures
Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor for medical advice.
